BCN Group are delighted to announce that we been approved as a supplier for Cloud Hosting and Cloud Support in the UK government’s G-Cloud procurement service.
The UK Government G-Cloud is an initiative targeted at easing procurement by public-sector bodies for cloud-based information technology services. Since its inception, there has been £6.2bn worth of sales through the framework with 44% of that spend awarded to SMEs.
By becoming a member of the G-Cloud Procurement Framework, BCN Group are approved to provide cloud-based services to an organisation within the UK public sector.
Founded in 2012, G-Cloud was set up after the UK government recognised the huge shift in how we consume technology and how the cloud is able to revolutionise how organisations operate.
The process of becoming a G-Cloud supplier involved defining our cloud offerings for peer review by the UK Government; aligning to Cloud Security Principles; and showing evidence that we have all relevant accreditations, such as ISO 27001.
Rob Davies, Group Sales and Marketing Director, commented:
“Cloud technology has revolutionised the way in which we all and private businesses embrace and consume technology. However, we believe that organisations within the UK public should also be able access the very best cloud-based technology solutions.
By becoming a member of the G-Cloud Procurement Framework, we can work with any public-sector organisation, and using our extensive knowledge and expertise, provide cloud solutions that deliver real change and drive digital transformation, creating a modern and agile workplace.
I’m delighted that we’ve been able to add our solutions to the supplier portal and would like to thank everyone at BCN Group who helped make this possible.”
